Information sessions for refugees from Ukraine in Primorsko and Sunny Beach

On April 29 and 30, IOM Bulgaria held free information sessions for refugees from Ukraine in Primorsko and Sunny Beach, as part of our outreach efforts in the Burgas region — the area currently hosting the largest number of displaced people from Ukraine.

In Primorsko, the session took place at the BDZ Recreation Facility, while the event in Sunny Beach was hosted at the Council of Ministers' Recreation Facility. Dozens of attendees from the local refugee community participated, actively engaging with our team and asking a wide range of questions on topics that matter most to them.

Questions ranged from employment rights and temporary protection to accessing healthcare, enrolling children in schools, and understanding social support opportunities in 2025. The strong turnout reflects the continued need for reliable, accessible information and support.

These sessions are part of our ongoing efforts to support social inclusion and help migrants make informed decisions about their lives in Bulgaria.
