IOM Bulgaria Mobile Teams Continue Field Support to Asylum Seekers
IOM Bulgaria's mobile teams — made up of legal experts, psychologists, and social workers — regularly visit Reception and Registration Centers (RRCs) across the country to meet with asylum seekers, provide free consultations, and respond to their evolving needs.
This week, the team visited RRC Sofia – Voenna Rampa, continuing their mission to offer holistic, person-centered support.
IOM's legal experts provide essential information on asylum procedures, rights and obligations, family reunification, and other matters that help migrants make informed decisions about their future.
Our mental health professionals offer psychological support to individuals experiencing distress or trauma, helping them build emotional resilience through continued, tailored care.
IOM's social workers help address everyday challenges, connect people to services, and ensure no one is left behind.
Together, our team of professional forms a lifeline for many migrants navigating uncertainty and rebuilding their lives in a new environment.
These activities are carried out within the framework of the project "Provision of support to asylum seekers in Bulgaria", funded under the National AMIF Programme 2021–2027.
