IOM Bulgaria - Safe Zones Snapshot 2024
We are pleased to share IOM Bulgaria's Safe Zones Snapshot for 2024.
This report highlights our activities and achievements in the two Safe Zones located in RRC Sofia, reflecting our unwavering commitment to supporting unaccompanied minors (UAMs) seeking international protection in Bulgaria.
Key Figures from 2024:
- 1,352 Unaccompanied Minors accommodated in the two Safe Zones.
- 755 Social consultations provided to UAMs.
- 146 Psychological consultations delivered.
- 246 UAMs received medical assistance, supported by IOM.
These figures underscore the essential services and support provided by IOM to foster safer, more supportive environments for unaccompanied minors in Bulgaria.
