Today, IOM Bulgaria is publishing its annual report to reflect on the accomplishments attained by the Mission in 2020 – a year marked by border closures and public health measures which prompted us all to swiftly reorganize our lives in a state of global pandemic. Migration and the activities of IOM worldwide did not remain unaffected, with many people, including migrants, bound to be facing its implications in the years to come.
Despite difficulties posed by an extraordinary reality, IOM Bulgaria managed to adapt in a timely manner and respond to the exigencies of the situation of vulnerable migrants in the country. IOM is grateful to all staff for their work during an exceptional period.
IOM Bulgaria extends its utmost gratitude to all friends, collaborators, and partners for the continuous support they have been providing during our efforts for humane and orderly migration.
