More than half a year into the devastating war in Ukraine, children are among the most affected by the conflict.
According to the official statistics, in Bulgaria there are more than 20,000 children who fled the war in Ukraine with their parents or relatives. Facilitating their integration in the Bulgarian education system is one of IOM Bulgaria's key priorities. One of the IOM staff members in Varna is actively working for the creation of the first Child care center for Ukrainian children.
