Christmas decoration workshop for unaccompanied minors
The unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, accommodated in RRC Sofia - Vienna Rampa took part in a Christmas decoration workshop organised by the IOM Bulgaria's social workers.
Toys, snowmen, stars, garlands and different types of Christmas decorations were made. They enjoyed working with spray paint on stencils to decorate the windows.
The IOM staff put up two Christmas wish boxes in which each child put their wish for the new year. All the children showed their own creative skills in making the decorations. The workshop continued throughout the day, with the children continually joining in with different ideas.
This activity was implemented within the framework of the project “Support for unaccompanied minors, seeking international protection” funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2020 under the Programme “Home Affairs”.
