Across Bulgaria, IOM assists the development of national mechanisms to combat and counteract trafficking in human beings and supports victims of trafficking.

Festival of Talent - June 1
On June 1, 2022 in honor of the Children's Day, children from the migrant communities in Sofia, gave a concert titled Festival of Talent. 17 children from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia, aged 5 to 11, performed plays, songs, dances and musical pieces from piano and trumpet. The gifted children were given the opportunity to show their talent, but also their hard work and perseverance in their creative pursuits.
Тhe host for the concert was Mrs. Julia Murzakova - cultural mediator and artist at heart.
The program began with the performance of the play "Half a kilo of sugar" at the children's creative workshop "Petrushka". The young actors aged between 6 and 8 evoked smiles and good mood among their peers in the audience and their parents. After that the stage welcomed the youngest participant - Vladislav Sintsov - just 5 years of age, who performed the dance "Yablochko".
Mark Murzakov (10 years old) performed the song "Solnechniy Krug", and Ioann Ivanov (7) performed the song "Shaluny". The duet performances of the sisters Alexandra (11) and Evfenia (8) Seryavini - "Krylatie Kactcheli" and the brother and sister - Alexander and Maria Stoevi combined various elements of acting and dance.
Masha Stoeva and Sofia Kirkorian captivated the audience with virtuoso piano performances. And the melody of "Pinko - the Pink Panther" cause widespread excitement throughout the hall. Alexander Stoev’s trumpet performance, which included an arrangement of the song "Hubava si moya goro" received well-deserved applause from the audience.
The festive concert, which was a real celebration of the positive, bright energy that all children carry, ended with the performance of the talented Mark Murzakov and the song "We are small children". A game with balloons followed and all participants received certificates for their participation in the concert - Festival of Talent and together with the other guests enjoyed the catering provided for the event.

The event was realized within the framework of the project "Training and counselling of legal migrants and persons seeking or having received the international protection" funded by the National Program of Bulgaria under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2014-2020.
