Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bulgaria, IOM assists the development of national mechanisms to combat and counteract trafficking in human beings and supports victims of trafficking.

IOM Bulgaria's Ukraine Response Situation Report January - June 2024
IOM Bulgaria continues offering a range of assistance to those escaping the war in Ukraine.
Here are some figures from our Ukraine Response Situation Report for the first half of 2024:
- More than 1400 people received social, psychological consultations and support with access to services
- Almost 900 families with children received food vouchers
- 1700+ people benefited from IOM's healthcare assistance.
- More than 500 people completed our free language training programme.
