Our Work
Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bulgaria, IOM assists the development of national mechanisms to combat and counteract trafficking in human beings and supports victims of trafficking.

Joint meeting with the Republic of Bulgaria DPM for Good Governance on the response to the Ukrainian refugee crisis
Radoslav Stamenkov - IOM Bulgaria's Head of Office, together with the country representatives of UNICEF, UNHCR and WHO met with the Republic of Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance - Kalina Konstantinova and discussed the ongoing Ukrainian refugee crisis.
All agreed that joining forces and fortifying the good collaboration practices are key to effectively working in favour of those in need.
