Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bulgaria, IOM assists the development of national mechanisms to combat and counteract trafficking in human beings and supports victims of trafficking.

Regional Response Plan for Ukraine 2023- Bulgaria DTM survey report
The report from the Displacement Tracking Matrix - DTM survey conducted in Bulgaria is now out. The collected data is an invaluable resource for understanding the needs of the people fleeing the war in Ukraine and tailoring the future support.
This report is based on a survey of displacement patterns, needs and intentions conducted by IOM’s DTM in the 11 countries included in the Regional Response Plan for Ukraine in 2023 among which is Bulgaria.
