The Information centres of IOM in Sofia and Burgas continue to organize groups in remote Bulgarian language education. The education is using the ZOOM platform. The number of attendees in one group is still up to 15 persons.
In 2020, 261 persons, beneficiaries of the project, successfully completed their online Bulgarian language course in levels A1 and A2. In 2021 new groups will be organized in the same manner, for another 200 third-country nationals (legally residing migrants and persons seeking/or having received international protection). Should you wish to sign up for language classes and/or have questions about this activity, please do not hesitate to contact us promptly.
In 2021 the Information centres for migrants in Sofia and Burgas will also organize cultural events (cooking and dance ateliers; exhibition of talented migrants-artists, mutual celebration of holidays - both local and migrants’) and info sessions on various themes that aim to help migrants to integrate better in the Bulgarian society. Should you want to propose specific questions or matters to be emphasized on within the info sessions, kindly contact us. We will provide you with information about the planned activities via our social media channels, as well as on our website.
