UKRAINE RESPONSE - IOM Bulgaria SNAPSHOT 2023
Almost 2 years since the start of the devastating war in Ukraine, IOM Bulgaria continues its steadfast support for those who have fled conflict and sought refuge within our borders.
Through a comprehensive response effort in 2023 we've provided multipurpose cash assistance to vulnerable individuals, food vouchers for families with children, emergency accommodation, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), access to medicines and healthcare, as well as social and administrative counseling.
Additionally, IOM Bulgaria offers free Bulgarian language training to refugees from Ukraine, empowering them to integrate in the country. Our commitment to upholding the principles of dignity, humanity, and solidarity remains unwavering as we navigate these challenging times together
