Visit to IBM Bulgaria for unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors
On the 13th of June an IOM Bulgaria team took the unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors accommodated in the Safety Zone - RRC Voenna Rampa around the facilities of IBM Bulgaria. The visit was organized by Caritas Sofia.
The IBM employees were very friendly and hospitable, they started with an ice-breaking game then a motivational meeting with IBM employees with similar backgrounds and experience.
They also showed the children the working place and the server room, introducing the children to the nature and specificities of their work. The day continued with a presentation of an online platform for teenagers with open access for interactive trainings. The IBM team had prepared a small treat and gifts for the children.
After the visit the children shared with the IOM members their thoughts and impressions about the visit and the feedback was encouragingly positive.
