World Refugee Day celebration at RRC Sofia - Voenna Rampa
The World Refugee Day commemoration at RRC Sofia - Voenna Rampa exemplified a splendid blend of unity and cultural diversity. The folkloric songs and dances eloquently portrayed the refugees' vibrant traditions, while delightful refreshments of snacks, sweets, and soft drinks were offered.
The event also featured enjoyable outdoor games that added an extra layer of enjoyment for everyone involved. The IOM social workers, State agency for refugees, Caritas Sofia, Red Cross, and CRWB collaborated to organise this event specifically for asylum seekers and UASCs (Unaccompanied and Separated Children).
These activities were implemented within the framework of the project “Support for unaccompanied minors, seeking international protection” funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2020 under the Programme “Home Affairs”.
